The Bar Method in Brief:

The Bar Method barre workout creates a uniquely lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the muscle shaping principles of isometrics, the body-elongating practice of dance, the science of physical therapy and the intense pace of interval training into a powerful exercise format that quickly and safely reshapes and elongates muscles.

About The Bar Method, Dallas Park-Cities:

Lisa Hennings, teacher and owner of The Bar Method,  Dallas Park-Cities, a former professional dancer and certified yoga teacher, has been practicing  The Bar Method since 2005.  In 2005 Lisa was invited to become a teacher and trained under the direction of  The Bar Method founder Burr Leonard.

In 2010 Lisa and Tom Hennings, the owner/founder of The Juice Bar, opened the first Bar Method studio in Texas.  Tom and Lisa graduated from Southern Methodist University and have raised three children in the Highland Park Independent School District (HPISD).  Their oldest daughter Taylor is currently a REP 1 dancer at Booker T. Washington in Dallas and Kaitlyn is part of the Dallas Youth Repertory Project. The oldest of the three, Kyle, is a striving Sophomore at The University of Arkansas.

In October 2016, Tom and Lisa opened a second location of The Bar Method in the affluent Uptown Dallas! They are passionate about The Bar Method and are committed to bring a superior level of teaching and service to their community. We are excited to see you at the studio!
